Equine chiropractic

From the Grand Prix ring to a trail horse that needs to stay comfortable. Not limited to “back pain.” Poll, neck, shoulders, back, SI, and limb motion all matter to how the horse uses itself. Barn calls in Ocala, Wellington, and Palm Beach County. Monthly visits in Volusia County, Tampa, Cocoa Beach, Fellsmere, and Martin County. Haul-in at Equine Performance Innovation Center (EPIC), Ocala. Programs available for non-profits and equine rescues.

Small animal chiropractic

An addition to routine veterinary care for dogs and other companions. Owners often seek care for mobility, incontinence, and comfort issues. Your veterinarian remains the primary medical provider.

Questions riders actually ask

How do I book an appointment?
Text (561) 932-8275. That is the only way to book. Include the horse or dog, whether you need a barn call or EPIC haul-in in Ocala, and the main complaint. Rider care is on the same visit as the horse. Email is not used.
Do you treat horses and riders together?
Yes. The rider is adjusted on the same visit as the horse, at the barn. Human-only house calls are not offered.
Where is the haul-in for horses?
Animal haul-in is at Equine Performance Innovation Center (EPIC), 5590 NW Hwy 225, Ocala, FL 34482. Barn calls cover Ocala and Marion County, Wellington, and Palm Beach County. Monthly visits also cover Volusia County, Tampa, Cocoa Beach, Fellsmere, and Martin County.
Do you see dogs and other small animals?
Yes. Small-animal chiropractic is offered as complementary care alongside the animal’s veterinarian — often for mobility, comfort, and incontinence-related issues. It is not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis or treatment.
Are you a veterinarian?
No. Dr. Christopher Burnham is a Doctor of Chiropractic (Palmer College) with American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) certification for animal chiropractic. Animal work is complementary to veterinary medicine.
Do you work with racehorses or sport horses?
Yes. Care covers sport horses and riders (hunters, jumpers, dressage, eventing, barrels) and racehorses. Dr. Burnham holds HISA credentials at Gulfstream, Palm Meadows, and Tampa Bay Downs.

How booking works

Text (561) 932-8275. Name the horse or dog, barn call or EPIC haul-in, and the main complaint. Say if the rider should be adjusted too. That is the same visit, not a separate one.
